Charmaine is the party girl looking for love in all the wrong places. That is until Hunter recues her from an apartment fire. Hunter notices the chemistry between him and Charmaine instantly but has been burned by rich girls in the past and is afraid to show his kinky side. The story is wonderful and of course the sex is panty melting. An all-around excellent read that will keep you glued to your e-reader. Loved It!

This is my first read by Normandie Alleman but it will not be my last. I found this story line very interesting and it was on the lighter side of BDSM. Charmaine is an irresponsible, spoiled, rich girl but she is also a delicate little girl beneath it all, it was an interesting dynamic of personalities at war with one another. She is a total party girl and drinks way more then she should, and she gets away with a lot of the things she does because she is the eldest daughter of the richest man in Dallas. Hunter is a firefighter that is always safety conscious so when he is called to the penthouse of an apartment building and has to walk up 70 flights of stairs, he isn't happy at all when the spoiled rich girl who started the fire when starts making demands.
I really enjoyed the way Hunter and Charmaine each had something that the other needed in a relationship. Hunter was usually dominating in the bedroom but found that he liked dominating Charmaine out of the bedroom as well. Charmaine enjoyed a "daddy/little girl" relationship years ago but hadn't perused it again but with Hunter she let her guard down and showed him what she needed. I was happy to see that even though Hunter hadn't had this type of relationship before not only was he open to it but he asked questions with other men that were in similar relationships.
I will go back and read the two books in the series before this one although this can be read as a standalone I enjoyed it enough to go back and see how the other couples started.

If Daddy/little is your cup of tea, or if you have an interest in the lifestyle, this novel represents the lifestyle with accuracy and respect. I found the premise intriguing and Normandie Alleman came through with a well written and nicely plotted story. This book is definitely erotica. It certainly deserves placement in the category. Though the scenes are quite graphic, the underlying passion and yes, tenderness are quite apparent. The primary and secondary characters are multi layered and easily engaged my emotions. I have now read three books in this series and I think this one is my favorite because oft he characters and the humor with which Normandie infused their interactions. This is the third book in a series, but does not contain spoilers or confusing content, so could stand alone.
