As a puzzle lover and as a home educator, I must say that this book of puzzles was absolutely wonderful. I loved how the author incorporated pieces of historical information into each puzzle. I also liked the variety of secret code puzzles used. I would not hesitate to use this resource with my kids or with the students that I tutor. The only suggestion I would make would be to add color to some of the pages.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dover Publications for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a fantastic puzzle book for kids! In addition to completing the puzzles, the children are learning things about art, history, famous people, places, etc. Each of the puzzles were fun and challenging to complete. There are also fun pictures throughout that the kids can color. This book would be great activities for kids during summer break and any other time throughout the year.

My daughter and I both really liked this book. There was enough variety to keep her entertained, and the level of difficulty was just about right for her (she is 7).

Absolutely brilliant. These were fun puzzles for a child (or an adult!), though we might find them a bit too easy. I enjoyed this book, I thought the content was lovely, the drawings were fun, it was informative. Good for a classroom or those being home schooled. I would recommend this book. 5 out of 5 stars.

There is a variety of word puzzles, colouring puzzles, decoding puzzles, and picture crosswords focusing on a range of different noteable people, places and animals (including Anne Frank, Shakespeare, koalas etc).
