I was given a copy of Shadowed Eden through the publisher and their partnership with Netgalley in exchange for my honest review which is as follows:
Avery knows she should be afraid landing in the Middle East, her Father an Archaeologist. Avery and a group of other teens are in the Middle East on a Mission trip when on their way the van they are in gets caught in a sandstorm and they end up lost in the jungle. In the Jungle they come across strange bright lights and other strange things. The Jungle is full of strange things. In the Jungle they fight Demons and strange happenings.
In the jungle nothing is at it seems and most everything ends up being a fight against evil.
I give this Unique well told story five out of five stars.
Happy Reading

This book was filled with mystery and suspense. Avery is a strong and likable protagonist. She is smart, resourceful, loving, and determined. She is also very observant and pays attention to little details. The reason why I gave it four stars is because I felt sorry for June and Benny whom Avery and Luca treated unfairly through the most of the book. While the book had done left ends, it was a fast-paces thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat reading till the very end. I recommend this book to fans of the Tv show, Lost.

Avery and her youth group go on a missions trip to - of all places, Iraq! She makes friends with their Iraqi van driver instead of making fun of him as another student did. Her Dad sits next to her in the van, he is an archaeologist, and also the only person who had been to Iraq before.
There are 2 vans filled with young people, and they run into an impassable desert sandstorm and Avery's Dad leaves her and goes in the other groups van to help them navigate. As the storm thickens, they all of a sudden come out into a thick green jungle - even the driver is in shock!
The kids exist by finding fruit and water in the jungle. They meet mysterious people who will not help them get back home, and one of them sees a mysterious stone temple with a book in it.
They are attacked by monkeys and serpents, and Luca, Avery's friend meets a strange boy who speaks perfect English and lives in the jungle.
Avery's Dad disappears out in the jungle for a few days and those who search for him are stopped by fire and quicksand. You will need to figure out the clues to find Eden

Shadowed Eden is a mysterious, Suspenseful, twisting, abundantly fun story. You immediately get pulled into the story with adventurous, alluring, altruistic, bizarre and chivalroustic(my own word) characters - YEEEEHAAAA Most of all the best part is the leader of the whole group is..............GOD - with GOD leading how could they go wrong? Can I get a testimony ya'll??? These teens go on a mission trip and getinto trouble from there there is a shocking ending that you just will totally enjoy.......
