Description
As soon as Wendy arrives in Blue Moon Bay, bad memories, the inn’s poor condition, and her brother’s pleas to save the inn overwhelm her. Then she meets a sexy laid-back stranger on the beach, and Wendy does something she never does . . . she opens up and confides her problems to him. Since Max Huntington’s only in town for one night, Wendy spontaneously kisses him, hoping to be distracted from her troubles for just one evening.
But when Wendy begins the painstaking process of fixing up the inn in order to sell it, Max tells her he’s staying on longer. He’s enchanted by the charming inn and even more with the kisses they shared on the beach. He wants to help her with the repairs, and she reluctantly accepts his offer.
Although she’s determined to remain detached from the allure of her inn, Blue Moon Bay and Max, every repair, every stroll on the beach, and every moment spent with Max, draws her in and reminds her of the local legend she’d believed as a child: that being kissed by the bay under a blue moon will lead to love that lasts forever.

Hatler writes sweet love stories for the young adult reader. Great plot line, interesting characters and a beautiful town set the stage for this new series.

entertaining as always. read a couple of her books and enjoyed this as well.

I love how sweet and endearing this book is. When Wendy goes back to her home town and falls back in love with the people and a boy from her past, it is absolutely swoon-worthy. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

It was enjoyable. The descriptions were very vivid, and I thought that the book was good.

A good book to me, is one I can't put down. Every little kiss, kept me hooked till the end. In fact I read it in a day.
As expected Wendy has issues in her life, due to the fact her parents left her and her brother with their grandmother and ran off to travel.. Its left her unable to trust anyone. As soon as Wendy can she leaves Blue Moon Bay. Only coming back when her grandmother dies, and she has to come back to live in her ancestral home the inn. For 30 days before selling it. While walking through the inn deciding what needs to be done to make it sale ready. Wendy is overwhelmed by memories. Unable to handle it, she rushes out the inn and down to the beach. Whilst having a melt down she meets Max a hot and amazing guy. Wendy ends up telling him the whole sorry story. They talk about the local legend of being kissed by the bay. After sharing lots of sweet kisses they part ways. Wendy expecting to never see him again. Except he doesn't leave he decides to stay for a while.I did find Wendy annoying how she kept pushing him away. The guy was a saint with all he put up with.
Having said that i could see why she was that way.I was so glad she finally worked through her issues and found her happy ever after. Looking forward to finding out how the rest of the characters fare in the series.
