Description
When United States Marine Tyler Collins is injured in the line of duty and sent home, the first thing he does is to go see the girl he left behind. He wants peace and to escape from the memories of violence and war. Instead, what he finds might change his life forever.
Their time together was supposed to be a fun summer fling, but in the three years since Tyler's been gone, he's never far from Pam Foster's thoughts or heart, even though the last thing she did before he left was lie to him. She has to right the wrong, but can a man with such integrity and honor forgive her? Especially when she hasn’t forgiven herself.
Is rekindled love enough, or will the secrets of the past ruin any hope of a future together?

This is a very sweet story with rather believable characters and I really enjoyed it.
There’s great chemistry between hero and heroine (Tyler and Pam).
Tyler, a Marine recovering from injuries, is honorable and tender. Pam is strong and very matter-of-fact. Her inner dialogue is laced with humor, I really enjoyed that part.
An important secret/situation is solved reasonably.
There’s a good cast of secondary characters.
And the writing was very good, the story flows effortlessly and it’s a pleasure to read.
Who stares at someone like that?
I see why she didn't tell him. He might have become distracted while fighting.
I love this kid.
His second proposal was so much better.
I have never heard the acronym.
This was a cute story about a US Marine (Tyler) who had been injured in the line of duty in Afghanistan and his return home to find his girlfriend has a surprise for him.
Pam has loved Tyler ever since she met him and she hadn't wanted him to not go into the Marines like he had always wanted. If he had known she was pregnant, he would never have gone or he would have gone and worried while he was gone. He was an honorable man and would have done the honorable thing. But, now, Pam had to explain why she hadn't told him about their son, Kyle. Would he ever be able to forgive her and would he want to be a part of Kyle's life.
My one criticism of this story was the descriptive sex scene. It was completely unnecessary and detracted from the story, in my opinion.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange of an honest review.
I throughly enjoyed this romance. This book has a great plot and the characters are believable. A new to me author and I liked her writing style.
This is a sweet romance about a Marine returning and the girl he left behind who is keeping a secret. I enjoyed the story but I did feel it was too short and was missing some romance. It is a quick read and perfect for summer. There is a sex scene at the end. Enjoy
