Description

In her third erotic romance mash-up, IPPY Award-winning author Lissa Trevor brings us a fem domme re-imaging of Cervantes’ Don Quixote.

Dulcinea del Toboso runs a nightclub that's part dungeon/part live-action theater.  Her exclusive clientele pay a great deal to be told erotic stories at Chivalry and be led on sexual adventures that includes BDSM, voyeurism and multiple partners. In addition to her harem of slaves, Dulcinea has her eye on conquering her chief of security, Alonso Quixano.

Alonso, however, doesn't mix work with pleasure—no matter how much Dulcinea gets under his skin.  He would like nothing more than to spend endless nights of pleasure with her.  However, he's not one to wait in line.  And the line for Dulcinea's bed is varied and never-ending.

When mobster Gino de Pasamonte decides his money can buy the best Dominatrix in the tri-state area, he's in for a big surprise when she puts him in a chastity cage and punts him out of her club, naked, for disrespecting her.  Now, Gino is out for revenge and it's up to Dulcinea and Alonso to stop him from destroying Chivalry, her reputation, and her devoted slaves.

Dulcinea runs a nightclub that is part dungeon/part live action-theater, her exclusive clientele pays a great deal to be a part of her sexual adventures. Now Dulcinea wants to conquer her chief of security, Alonso. Although the chemistry is there, Alonso won’t be one of her many slaves. When Gino, a mobster decides he can buy Dulcinea he is shown what happens when you disrespect the Dominatrix. What will happen when Gino is out for revenge. The is a fast-paced read with plenty of drama and hot and varied sex. I found the story to be entertaining and the sex scenes steamy. A good read.

When i requested this ARC, I gave a promise to give a fair and honest review. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!! If you are not into BDSM, multiples, G on G or M on M, do not read this book. However, if you are liberal minded and not easily shocked then you will enjoy this.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This book will keep you occupied for awhile and you will not be able to put it down. When a mobster threatens someone Alonso cares about he eventually puts down his walls and gives in to the Mistress and her ways.

I definitely enjoyed this erotic suspense drama by Lissa Trevor. I just wish the plot line of Domme Quixote had been a comedy. The comedic elements were everywhere. The misconceptions, misunderstandings and the characters over blown characteristics and desires were almost high comedy you might find in Boccaccio.. This minor quibble aside, the book is well worth the read and I highly recommend it for anyone who likes BDSM writing. Its pretty good.

Alas the plot can be separated from the actual powerful sexual drama. The use of organized crime and gun violence do not lend anything serious to the work and the reader will see it as pretty well stock in trade place holders that link the brilliant scenes of sexual drama. The eroticism will blow you away. It was like being terribly teased by a good writer who could have, and almost did produce a brilliant plot. Had it done so it would have kicked this into a higher category of romantic erotic BDSM fiction, something with serious literary merit.

A dominatrix struggling to pay the rent for her club puts on a show and embarrasses a mobster who insults her with his attitude. Hilarity tries to ensue, but it’s not allowed.
Most stories involving dominatrices feature them having a screwed up regular life, and this one is no exception. Her desire for her security chief clouds her judgement at the worst times, but it’s her stubbornness and ego, just as much as the mobster’s, that escalate things into such dangerous situations.
But even had Don Quixote not been one of my favorite stories—seeing a fantastic version of Man of La Mancha recently no doubt helped—this would have still been a ton of fun. The sex and domination aspects were done better than the romance and mob stuff, especially the shows. There’s more than enough entertaining reading. The main character, in particular, was immensely intriguing, someone I would love to get to know better (though not as one of her slaves!).
But I kept wondering: this guy is in the mob, but he’s not the leader. She mentions she had contact with the mob when she first started the business, so she must know someone who can get Gino to lighten up. But that of course is so simple it never occurs to her. . .

A dominatrix struggling to pay the rent for her club puts on a show and embarrasses a mobster who insults her with his attitude. OH MY GOD hahah

I haven't read an erotica in so long. It was different, than other erotica's I've read in the past. And Oh my god! This was something alright! I loved it! I can't read wait to read more from this author!

I freaking loved this book. It was fun and had great characters in it. Dulcinea has a BDSM club that does live theater. Gino, a mobster comes in with his sub, Dulcinea let's him know that she is in control, not him. She gets kidnapped by Gino, but is saved by a hunky, military security guy.. This was a new take on erotica and I was surprised and impressed by how good it was. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review I honestly loved it

Dulcinea runs Chivalry, a nightclub that is part dungeon/part live action-theater. There is chemistry between Dulcinea and her chief of security, Alonso. I absolutely loved when she showed Gino what happens when you disrespect the Dominatrix. While this is erotica, there is also suspense and some romance mixed in.
