This book takes an empathetic approach and gives bite size approaches and allows you to have kindness and patience with yourself when dealing with life. This is so necessary for everyone to read in life. Highly recommend. Especially loved the reflection to true life to humanize my feelings and relate. Wow! This book is beyond anything I could have imagined. The Anxiety Healer's Guide is packed full of helpful information on healing your mind and body while learning to overcome anxiety. Instead of trying to find a quick fix, the author, a licensed therapist, wants to teach a variety of ways to cope with and lessen anxiety, often before it begins.
A few of the techniques covered are journaling, aromatherapy (a personal fave), breathing, grounding, and hydrotherapy. I love the graphics throughout the book but was absolutely delighted to see the coloring pages at the end. How cool is that?!!
Chapter 9 is all about creating a healing tool kit, personalized to each individual, to put into place the strategies that work best for YOU!
So excited to take the knowledge from this book and put it to use in my day to day life. Cannot wait to get my hands on a hard copy and recommend to my fellow anxiety sufferers. This book has potential to be life changing. Five hopeful stars.
